mission problem

On mission .. Deliver 300 units food rations to RoC Solar Energetics,,, i fly to crystal castle to get the rations. I make sure the construction ship is NOT joined to my wing but that the rahana IS. When i make the trade, no matter what i do, it sends the construction vessel to pick up the food rations. Then it will not allow me to transfer the wares from the construction vessel.... What is the correct way to make this trade.... My game is NOT modified. Playing campaign, obviously,, vers. 3.20 (190820) 64 bit. No mods of any kind. Playing via steam.

At the top of the trade menu should be the name / Picture of the ship you going to use to trade with .
Press 5 or 6 to swap the selected trade ship to the Rahannas then buy the 300 Food & the correct ship should perform the trade

Yeah, the game was improved to allow trading with ships that are not in our Squad/Wing.

Awesome Thnx . I hadnt messed with trading at all up to this point, aside from buying and selling small goods myself with npc's. Even in my freeplay game, all my earnings have been made the same way, that and selling ships i captured.
