[3.10 release] BUG - station trader not trading correctly

I have a station in Darned Hot Air, and the manager is controlling a Rahanas. The station is short of one ware: Food Rations. The Rahanas is attempting to trade for those wares with Crystal Castle in Gushing Spring, which does have Food Rations for sale, over 200k.

The problem is that the Rahanas keeps docking at the wrong port. The captain's Navigation skill is 4/5, so I don't attribute it to that (not even sure if location selection is affected by skill). The ship docks at... - well, this is strange. I though it was docking at.... oooooook, now it's working...?

It was repeatedly docking at a port which didn't have a ware icon attached to it, then immediately undocking. I then switched Rahanases (I have two of them), hoping to "reset" whatever was looping, but to no avail, same problem with the second ship, docking at the wrong port then immediately undocking. So I initiated a manual trade for a small number of rations with a third ship without changing anything else. That trade completed, which apparently did something, because now the Rahanas is trading with Crystal Castle, using its Cargolifters - but still at the wrong port, the one with no icon.

Weirdness. I wouldn't report it because it's working now... but it wasn't for at LEAST an hour, so something was amiss and needs to be adjusted, and I'd rather provide information on it than not.

That does seem strange behaviour and I have seen something similar when a trade ship assigned to the player has had it's trade order cancelled by the player but the cancellation of the trade has not stopped the ship flying to the target station.

It could be that while in transit, the station requesting the resources has updated the purchase amount one or more times?

For example: Ship in transit to a station with 200k of something and at the time of order issuing the requesting station only needs say 50k of that something. While in transit, the station uses more of the resource and thus the demand increases to say 100k thus given the knowledge that the destination station still has 150k unallocated to a trade they update their original order from 50k to 100k rather than issuing a supplemental order for the additional 50k and potentially missing out on a cost saving at the destination station.

Well, the supplying station has more units available than my station can hold. However, it's possible that this situation is the result of version changes/savegame issues/etc. I'm starting a new game. If I run into this game issue in my new game, I will bump this thread.

i have been having problems also, cant sell ships, a lot of commands with ship dealer have vanished, i have some rahanas n other ships in my fleet that tell me to bug off n all that ncan do nothing with them( this happened also b4 the teladi outpost update, i cant even get drones as the item seems orange in colour.
i tried starting a new game and i couldnt even but weapons as the buy buttons were greyed out...thats just what i have seen so far.

Hey guys ... after a very hard week of creating a mod to overcome this issue i still failed on forcing the RoC Crystal station into trading me anything. i can magically add and remove cargo and deduct payments but that would be very bad game play...

but don't worry, i finally understood what happened, OUR MANAGER IS SHORT OF MONEY !

yep that's right. the Manager on the station to whom the ships are assigned to is short of money and could not purchase the Food Rations ( worth about a million cr ) from RoC Crystal... i gave my manager 20 mill which should be enough and THEY DID made the trade phew. the only reason why PLanned trips work is because planned trips get the money directly from the player's funds and not the manager's.
