Help needed pls. (Modded gameplay question.)

Hi all
I will start with an apology if again I am in the wrong forum!.
I have a problem capturing ships in x3tc x tended, I checked the forums and archive for help first tried those tips and still unable to capture a nice m6 dumped by some pirate scumbag.
I checked i had the claim software installed and got to within 30m in space suit etc, still the computer says " not installed " .
This is very frustrating If anybody can suggest a solution I would be grateful.
I have re installed and patched the damm game 3 times already, and it lives in its own drive partition.

Please post questions about Xtended-TC in the relevant Scripts and Modding thread for that mod. This is definitely not a vanilla Tech Sp topic. Also a more-meaningful thread title would be handy in future - I added the bit in brackets for here.
