Lost Sector Music

For some reason, the music does not play when flying around a sector. Highways and Battles are fine, but no music otherwise. Happen to anyone else? Tried playing with the volume etc. Nothing seems to work.

If I Recall Correctly (IIRC), this bug is linked to a failed hacking attempt whilst boarding/capturing an enemy ship. To get the music back you will have to do a successful Hack.

I'm not sure if this is what has happened to you or not, but it sounds very similar.

You might be correct on that, but I have found the solution. I loaded an earlier game and the music worked so there was something funny with my latest save. I loaded my save with notepad++ and found the following line.
<music locked="1"/> This did not exist in my earlier save.
After deleting it, the music returned.
