AI Rahanas traders with destroyed Hull segments

I am lately discovering ton of AI Rahanas flying around with a destroyed center hull segment, No idea why and where they get beaten up that badly (scouted whole Albion without result, but appearently they refuse to go repair themselfs.

Is this issue known and/or does anyone else encounter it?

Is your game modified at all? This problem was fixed some time ago, but if you are using a modified or outdated version then it's possible the fix isn't present for you.

I also have this issue, but my game is modded!

I sort of presumed that the game remembers the state of the hull of ships and these damaged ships have just been around since I started (and therefore the problem would stay unless I start a new game)

Perhaps I'm massively wrong?

I think these may be legacy errors caused by old save files and mods. To fix I would disable the mods, and start a new game.

Yes mod effects can survive within the modded gamesaves after the mods are disabled.

Well, i've started a fresh new game with v2.0 vanilla , and only installed a couple of immersion/cosmetical mods after the patch 2.50 came out, got litauens cap ship bridge mod, yoriks yisha mod and the tirurel engine fix. thats about it. Nothing that should alter AI behaviour and/or the rahanas.

I'll keep an eye on those freighters. maybe they really were beaten up by someone and it was just a coincidence.

If not i guess i'll have to rebuild my semi-legal weed n booze mafia imperium :D

I still see this sometimes in my unmodified game originally started in 2.0. Hadn't seen any for ages, but a couple showed up during the 2.50 beta.

The double odd thing is that these ships are often only barely damaged percent-wise, I saw one with two segments wrecked, but at 98% hull.

This was much more common in early versions of the game and I thought it looked quite cool, though I never once saw the damage occur live so to speak. Even one of my own ships was like it a few versions back, though it'd not been in combat since my capture of it. It just suddenly started showing the damage state.

same here, hardly damaged at all most have 90% upwards.
