Linux support

Post by schidin »

Hello,

I am one of the guys who decided to switch to Linux. Long time ago a Linux support for Rebirth was announced and I got very excited. Unfortunately the notes for the next patches did not mention anything about that. Are there any news about when to expect a Linux support?

Thanks

Have a read of this thread from March this year. I doubt that much has changed in the meantime.

Yeah - we have to be patient, but I am sure the port will be done in the end...

I only hope it won't take an year from now..

In the mean time more and more games are been ported to Linux. The latest I like the most are Metro: Last Light, Borderlands 2, Wasteland 2 and Baldur's Gate Enhanced Edition (Baldur's Gate 2 EE has an placeholder already, and the upcoming version of Borderlands will also be playable on Linux).

So enough "gap fillers" for us Linux users until X Rebirth will be ready...
