X3TC ran fine, X3AP lots of freeze ups

Any differences which would point to something I should do with the graphics settings to resolve this? X3TC ran just fine for hundreds of hours. X3AP has lots of freeze ups (sometimes it will go fine for hours, but sometimes I'll have 2 within 10 min).

Running windowed, the freezes don't happen when I'm trying to alt-tab, just during regular play. Not always during SETA either.
