No Drones on Shipyards

Hi All

I have built a XL Shipyard with all extensions and theres no drone supply trade dock ports available to stock shipyard and i have a lot of freighters full of drones but the station don't need them WHY!.

I have even asked the shipbuilder to offload the drones that the ships needs and those drones are not in the stations inventory when i try to stock a newly built ship WHY!

Other existing Shipyards are stackable and will offload and load drones so why don't the players shipyard stock drones.

Is there a way i can rectify this issue now or is it another error that will be fixed in the next update patch.

I presume you build the XL shipyard with a mod, if that is the case you are better of asking for support in the mod thread.

Also, check the info at the bottom of the trade screen when you try to complete the trade. Often I find that if I cannot complete the trade there is a message at the bottom of the trade window stating why ( ie; "neither of the trading parties have sufficient cargo-lifter drones in order to complete the trade") . This could be because the trade ship and station are not equipped with the required cargo transfer drones, or it could also be because the drones are being used for another purpose (in my case the station was busy unloading cargo from a NPC trade vessel at another dock).

Also, sometimes ships and stations that have just been constructed require some time before they become fully functional, for instance; when I build a new ship it takes about 3 to 5 minutes before the docking cradle becomes accessible on the ship.

I do check everything its always saying other station needs drones but my station don't and there's no ports to upload drones to and as i said even getting the builder to offload from ships own needs still don't show in stations stock.

I do have the Build Shipyard mod but this should taken drone needs in account.

I presume that your shipyard manager has money to pay for the drones, that is the only thing I can think of.

I did try to give him money from the start but that part of the manager control is greyed out and i have no problem selling other wears for the station needs it's only drones i can't supply or stock.
