ty for trying to run my stuff...
... i have the old savegamefiles, which were also from AP, they're around 1 year old and i m not sure what mods i had at that time exactly. as mentioned they were "official moded", no extra stuff... and again: core element of my post was: my files are too big now. they are around 28500 KB and should be around 10000 KB . so if this cant be undone... if i shall uplode "the big files" somewhere so u can look at em urself, tell me...
ty for ur patience
the save-game problem guy, again

There are no 'official' mods for X3AP apart from the Bonus Packs for X3TC and X3AP. All other mods and scripts are 3rd party and are used at your own risk.
If your original saves are oversize because of use of mods then there is nothing we can do to recover them for you. You might be able to continue with the original source saves if you can install the exact same X3AP *and* X3TC mods/scripts as you had before. As we said in the Universe forum, 'open with' does not change the source file and so is not your problem unless you knowingly overwrote or deleted the originals.
I think your best bet is probably to start a fresh game in X3AP and forget those saves. Perhaps look around (or ask) for an advanced vanilla game save through the forum if you don't want to start from scratch.
Uploading a modded/corrupted save will not help; if you cannot load it into vanilla then neither will anyone else be able to.
