Trade satellite
I'd like to see the introduction of trade satellites like in X3TC/AP.
X3TC Vanilla with bonus pack
Start: Terran Defender
Terran plot complete
Goner plot complete
New Home plot at 50,000,000 credits step
Operation Final Furry on last step.

Re: Trade satellite
TAF mod on workshop handles this already. Comm an npc ask for trade offer updates pay the money and done. Would be nice to remote all of these from anywhere but you still run into the problem of discovering the zones and stations.Palladin888 wrote:I'd like to see the introduction of trade satellites like in X3TC/AP.

Yes the npc can comm you from anywhere in the x-world....... And you have to make house calls. This is just a sad day as a ship pilots.

Provided you have the reputation you can see everything that goes on in that zone with those who own the stations or if you built one yourself. Reputation lets you see anything and everything. TAF updates your trade window for your personal use. Rep lets you see everything they own as you're allied if it's discovered already like ships and stations.
I'd love some tweaks to everything though and the sat idea always seemed more logical to me than the whole npc/smalltalk update route they went. Rep also gates what you can see unless you hack.

The problem is you can't see enemy presence - if there's a Xenon K or I terrorizing a sector, for example, I would like to jump to the NPC's defense. But at the moment there's simply no way for me to keep an eye on enemy presence like I could in X3.Baconnaise wrote:Provided you have the reputation you can see everything that goes on in that zone with those who own the stations or if you built one yourself. There may also be players who don't wish to befriend all the NPC factions, but want to keep an eye on general fleet movements or trade activities all the same. They likewise can't do that.
Some sort of X3-styled "spy satellite" would be nice indeed.

That's odd as they show up in the zone list for me friend or foe.Simoom wrote:The problem is you can't see enemy presence - if there's a Xenon K or I terrorizing a sector, for example, I would like to jump to the NPC's defense. The Xenon I ship can't change sectors or zones from what I've seen for some reason. I'll take over another one with this 2.2 update and try again perhaps.
