Magically apearing money (bug)

Hey there... Either I ran into a very strange bug, or the AI of our managers are so good they started using "Creative booking".

The issue can be recreated fairly easy with the savefile provided, and a little patience (10-20 mins)

First, go to my URV production fac. You will find it has roughly 250K cr. Not exactly a rich station ;-). You will find that this is the way of my little empire here, I only have around 6 mill my self.
Then you will find it has plenty of drones not really being used or sold. This was how I discovered this. I wanted to do something with those drones, and decided to let the URV station have some drones installed for defence. I figuered that since it would basically sell its own wares to it self, it wouldnt need any money. How right I was ;-)
Now, go to the construction vessel assigned to the station (Gemstone: URVparts - Const) and have it add 80 Overrun Mk2, 60 Interpid Mk2 and 100 Intercepter Mk2. Finish the trade and then you will have to wait... anywhere from 10 to 20 minutes in my experience. Tried it twice.

You will find that one of my managers proudly asks if you want the money she is holding, and then... Well, somwehere between 8 and 11 mills will be transfered to the player account.

As it turns out, looking into the log, this is the URV station (owing 250K) receiving a profit from the URVs it just sold to itself Oh, and apart from the money transfered to the player account, they also improved their own account in the process... How on earth those money suddenly got there, I dont know... But I do thank the very capable URV Manager of producing money from nothing. And we all said Managers were hopeless ;-)

Hey Fenhris,

I'm a little confused, none of the drones you ordered are actually produced by the Plot URV Forge, or is this a non-plot forge? Not able to try your save at the moment.

The plot URV Forge just produces Interceptor Mk1 Drones - which no one wants. Nice lol.

The money bug though doesn't surprise me at all, trade is still quite broken in many aspects of the game. From wares disappearing, to made up transactions. ES really do need to nail down the trade bugs as they can totally destroy a play through when the Eco collapses.

Nope, not the plot URV. URV Parts supply. I am playing a plot, but wanted to try and have a fully operational supply line before going to DeVries. Am looking forward to see how bad it will go once PMC becomes hostile. I am expecting to loose a good few mining ships, possibly the ships and maybe even the station I have in Ascendancy. But I am expecting everything I have in Far Out to survive, except the miners who wont follow the zone restrictions given to them.
