Orders Wont Go through

Hi picked up the game at release. A couple days ago i thought about giving it anathor try.

So basically the problem is to any ship i own . Little fighters, little transports and the big freighters and collecters, they can complete trade orders fine but when i go through the menu to give it an order like mine or go to X such place. Nothing happens after i click new order, it just goes back to playing the game... Become frustrating with them all following me and i cant do anything but b asically watch pmc destroyers kill all my shiny things....

Any one else have this problem>?
