[1.25] the special Rahanas(Container and energy) won't dock with shipyard

When using the modify ship command from as hip trader, and trying to added drones to the special Rahanas you get early in the plot, the captain won't dock with the shipyard and just continues to follow the skunk.


I even get an acknowledge video when finished giving the command but then when looking at the rahanas orders it still says following Albion skunk.

Now the ship traders are stuck with the resource status option and I can't modify any other ships.

Is this game breaking bug which means I have to start again or is there a way to cancel this.?

I love this game but I wish every thing worked.


On a side note the reason I was trying to add drones to the rahanas was because after hacking a stations energy cell storage to sell them more, I tried to collect the dropped energy cells for the system to tell me I had not ships capable to do this. What is needed to have capital ships pick up containers floating in space?

Have you tried remove/add squad.

A while into the game it slows down and player ships will stop following orders, you need to give them a nudge so to speak by remove/add resetting orders back to beginning.

Also, if it hasn't reached the dockyard, I think you can "stop orders" when getting on the coms to the Captain.

But the Hybrid may still be buggy from previous patches.

Yeah tried that the new orders and assign superior officer are greyed out even after I remove add to squad.


I started again and think i may have found the problem.

The drones I added were scoop collectors, which I have since learned are for liquids, in the new game I added surface drones and they were added fine.


Managed to steal some energy cells from a station, but it is major headache. The ship sent out cargolifters so there was no point in adding the surface drone,and the pathing of the cargolifters is terrible. Not to mention you have to stay in the sector to pick up all the containers, otherwise the ship will follow the skunk leaving the orders to collect behind.

Out of the possible 20000 energy cells dropped, the rahanas only got 8000 when I left the sector to try and make the pathing for the cargolifters easier.

It sounds like a good way to make money, hack the station, get it to drop wares pickup those wares and sell them back together station. But it is a long process.


Not only do you have to hack parts of the station that have nothing to do with the part you want, but the collector ship (in this case rahanas) is usually parked so far away the cargolifters take forever to get the wares and they fly as close to the station as possible, getting caught in the small areas between parts of station. It is a frustrating process.

The hack mini game needs to be streamlined, perhaps a more involved mini game at the wanted hack point, as opposed to multiple hack points across the station.

I thought you meant as in sending your Rahannas into the Shipyard to be repaired, upgraded, ammo etc.

Yeah, Scoop Drones are for Ion, Plasma and Hydrogen.
