[1.24 HF1] - you can ask eng. or defense officer to come on board remotely

no mods, 1.24 HF1 release.
it is possible to contact Eng. or defense officer by comm. from the ship detail window. there you can ask them to come back on board.
The ship can be in another system. anyway you will get the cutscene of him getting on the skunk.


BTW, i'm not sure if this is a bug: in the same way you can contact Eng. and ask him to repair the skunk. he can be in another system and it still work..

I've noticed that myself, on stations though I think, they can somehow teleport from Station to your Skunk.

Just to be clear, i'm contacting my own ships. these are NPCs hired by me and put to work on a ship.
not contacting station NPCs and hiring them (i think that there is a mod for that)

and same time in that game you even can't even remote order new ship/repair/upgrade from shipyard.
