Hi,
Yesterday I tried the new hotfix for the refueling.
1. The refueling is much faster now - very good.
2. Heavily increased amount of fuel cells at the station - very good.
3. Decreased price of the refueling - does not matter for me - perhaps a game mechanics thing...
4. All ships are refueled up to 2500 fuel cells - very good.
A. The ships path into the refueling station are still questinable. As the proximity sensors are off ships are going through the station and also into each other as well.
B. I wonder why ships fly into the recharging station and then back out again. Should they not fly out on the other side by moving forwards instead of backwards.
C. A queue system is working but if a Arawn is waiting for refueling it is 'blocking' the intire entrance to refueling station - something to consider in the tweaking of the code.
D. Refueled ships should be sent futher away from the station as to not block ships entering the station.
E. The faster refueling does not help on the system economy as EC cells/meat/wheat and so on is still not being moved between stations. If the refueling stations run out of goods it is solely up to the player to support the entire infrastructure that allows 'food rations' (or similar) to be produced.
Regards,
Conan

Something odd I noticed. My trade computer "forgets" the existance of Fuel Cells in DeVries now, the moment I leave the Zone.
I'd literally just gone in to the Zone, scanned the Fuel Station, Queued up a trade for my Titurel to refuel its self. However, the Titurel forgot it's prior trade of selling something to my URV Forge, which I noticed after I'd left the Zone. So, I clear the orders, re-issue the Sale to my URV Forge, go to add the refuel, and the offer is gone. I'd scanned it not 5 minutes earlier.
Going to test again, but, once more, I need to re-trace my steps to micro-manage something. Somewhat frustrating.
Note: so far, just issuing a "Refuel" order does nothing.
I will test further.
Scoob.

when i watched right, now the refueling-stations make like no profit, have 6 of them in albion(so that two off them in each sector is), open for all ships and have not 5 million/h with ALL fuel-stations together and they are all full off cells.
can't understang why the price for the cells was been setting down, so it's no more interesting to build that station, cause off the price off cell's and the profit what the station make(or not) in contrast off the price for the station to build (~100mio.) -how many years shall i play to have the price in by profit?
edit: this day:
roundabout 10h played with all 6 refuling stations: not 5 million profit....
all 10 stations (4 not full build) not 10millions.
i think i can slowly stop to build more stations and so the complete game.
it makes no sense, when you push roundabout 700million credits in 10 stations and have a profit how is so low, that i can push morer 100 and 100 and 100 millions in fab's and have no profit. realy realy pity.......
edit2: now i had a more precise look to the price off refueling, it has gone down from 285.000 to 50.000 for 25 jumps, so it doesnt wonder that the jumpfuel-stations will near non profitable work.....
when at least the price for one of those stations will be adjusted.
one of these stations cost around 100million and when you only take the full fueling, whitout costs for producing these cells, or load up, you need 2000 full-loadings to have the costs of one station.
when you calculate the real profit, you need over 5000 full-loadings to have the spendet money for the building of the station back....

The order "refuel first" is working for me only if the ship concerned is in the zone where my own refueling rig is sited. If they are in any other zone, even those with refueling rigs such as gemstone manufacture, they ignore the order and just sit there until you tell them not to use jump fuel.
The downside of owning a refueling rig is that I now have to pump credits into it and it is always full now if I restrict it to my own ships.
