My shipyard has two ship builders for the XL.

I didn't notice at first, but I assigned a teladi to outfit a titurel with some new drones. As I waited and watched, a Taranis was built by HOA. I figured it was bugged and left, hoping it would sort itself out. I eventually returned to the platform, if I ask the teladi for resource status it still shows him as working on a titurel, though there are no resources shown... and no ability to build ships anymore.

Then I looked on the other side of the platform and found ANOTHER ship builder. I guess she's the one who made the Taranis.

Anyway, all three ship builders (those two plus the shady vault one) have orders to give drones to ships.. and my titurels are just following me around (though one cannot be assigned to another superior) the rest still work as they should.

And... it gets weirder.

Eventually the ship I had told to get drones at the shady vault shipyard showed up at gemstone manufacture. I watched, curious to see what would happen.. It entered, said successfully docked, vanished.. and is now in shady vault.. And a ship builder tells me she's a beaut.

Err.. what!?

So your ship teleported to another Shipyard in another Sector entirely?

I've had odd teleport bugs in Devries but not at the shipyards lol

Yeah, and now the que is freed up in shady vault, but my ship still can't be assigned a new superior and the gemstone shipyard ship dealers appear to still be waiting for it to come.. only it doesn't..

They'd probably just teleport it away again anyway

That can be bad as it blocks any other ship or any other build project from happening as your ship is at top of the queue.

Have you tried removing the said ship from squad? Might work better if the computer ai takes over and not the players orders/pathfinding.
Still got some problems.

Make a save, Compress the save as a Zip, then upload it to the cloud and post a link here so that the developers can look at the issue.

Where can I upload the zip file? I normally avoid cloud stuff so I don't really know.

And yes, it has rendered the gemstone shipyard useless, even after kicking it from the squad and replacing the captain.

oh and just to note all issues with my save

2 ship merchants at XL gemstone shipyard
XL gemstone shipyard broken (probably due to below)
A titurel who won't take a new superior
1 Station in torrid veil stuck mid construction because CV was destroyed
1 Station in lava flow without a CV (basic stage completed)
1 Station in lava flow with a CV that has flown to about 1200 KM outside of vapour stream for no apparent reason and parked there.
