illegal scanning wither you do or not
I just did 3 missions in Rebirth 1 patrol and 2 escorts. I was desperate for something different to do or I wouldn't have opened this again. IN that short time I was told that I violated illegal scanning laws twice and sector security once called to tell me my illegal scanning was reported. Thats just from flying around stations looking for work. If your target reticule touches anyone....anyone and identifies them as a ship...its illegal scanning, and it happens a dozen times a mission, or about that many times an hour. Thought I'd mention it, right now trying desperately to stop myself from deleting the entire game....I really, really hate the way this plays...really.

Yeah that whole random accusation thing is annoying, though I've only had it happen a couple times. One time, I didn't even scan a ship or info node, I was inside a station docked, and as soon as I got back in the cockpit I was accused. Like i said, it seems rare in my experience, but still annoying.KRM398 wrote:I just did 3 missions in Rebirth 1 patrol and 2 escorts. It happens so often to me I thought it was a feature.dijital wrote:Yeah that whole random accusation thing is annoying, though I've only had it happen a couple times. I reported as a bug that once you activated station scanning, it seems it doesn't switch off anymore. Link here:
