Issue with USB devices preventing the game from starting

Is the issue with 5 or more USB devices going to be addressed? I have a lot of flight simulator controllers attached, and removing any of them and reattaching them causes the controller IDs to get screwed up, causing me hours of reconfiguring work. X Rebirth is *the only* game I have that has this limitation, and I'd like to know if this is being actively pursued, as it seems that other developers have successfully solved/never had this problem to begin with. If not, is there any possibility of a refund through Steam, since I paid $60 USD for this game, have NEVER been able to play it, and this limitation was not given in the system requirements before purchase. Please advise thanks.

I'm in the same boat. I have never gotten the game to start at all and I also have lots of sim devices attached.
