Bug v1.22 Plot mission, building first station !!!

Right guys, im at the part in the campaign where you have to use your newly aqquired CRV ship to build a station in Devries - Glaring Truth, so i`ve started construction by setting the plans for the station out with the Architect.... given her the credits and told her to handle materials... it`s started off ok, she (architect) bought bio-optic wiring and fusion reactors... and now wants energy cells and reinforced metal plating, trouble is, i`ve had to use my Rahanas to buy the energy cells and i can`t seem to trade/transfer the energy cells to the CRV to help towards the construction.

I`m assuming this is a bug, i`ve tried comming the captain of the Rahanas, but don`t see any kind of command option to trade/transfer the materials to the CRV.... really, really frustrating !!!

Anyone got any solutions for this, or is this something that is awaiting a patch/update to fix it.... oh and i have no idea how to edit .xml flies ect ect, or at least wouldn`t know where to look in such a file to manually fix it myself..... any help would be greatly appreciated.

As far as I know you have to use the trade menu, then select your construction ship from the buyers trade list. There is no option to directly trade with the ship only via the trade menu. The buy order will be in the trade list. Look for your CRV.

Ok guys.... i have tried the `Trade` in the above post... hasn`t worked, turns out i need 598 Bio-optic Wiring and 270 Fusion Reactors. Unfortunatly only place i know of is the Tech fac. in Buried Treasure that sells Bio-optic Wiring..... just tried going there, got hammered, twice, by PMC fighter patrols.

The point at which i`m at in the campaign is basically froze/bugged/incomplete (delete as appropriate), so i can`t seem to get any further..... any further suggestions would be appreciated, including how to solve this issue by tampering/hacking/changing the save.xml file !!

Well, I successfully bought all required Bio-Optic Wiring and Fusion Reactors in Ascendancy. The basic idea was to make multiple runs and to minimize the time my freighter spends in Albion to get it in and out of there before it gets destroyed. A good understanding of how your freighter reacts to your orders may be necessary for this to actually work.

Aquiring the materials isn`t a major problem... it`s more the fact that when i bring up `Trade`, my CRV isn`t in the list, no matter weather i`m in the same zone/sector or not, it just simply doesn`t show up in the trade list.

I decided earlier to start a `Free Play` game..... having issues now with that where every ship dealer i talk to has the `build` option in the ship list greyed out, so how exactly am i supposed to purchase a ship and have it built, if the `build` option is greyed out... ??

Yea... i can get my Rahanas in and out of Buried Treasure with Bio-optic wiring without too much hassle from PMC, it`s like i said tho in my last post.... i wait for my Rahanas to return to Devries - Too Darned Hot and then can`t basically get it to trade the Bio-optic wiring to my CRV so it can continue with building the station.... it`s so frustrating !!

I had that problem, turn out my Rahanas was missing the cargo drones, as soon as I put some, it did trade with the Construction ship.

Well i have already watched my Rahanas buy ECells and it has those drones come out and transfer wares from the port to the ship.... so i`m going to assume those particular drones are different to the ones i need inorder to transfer wares from one ship to another ?!?

If that`s the case then i will have to check next time i get in game, probably later on, cheers guys for the help..!!

When buying Ecells, your ship may be using the Station drones, if you check your cargo screen, any drones in your ship should be listed there.

Ok... i`ve just checked my game, or more specifically my Rahanas... it has 50 Cargolifter URV`s, so i have drones, so i`ve still no idea why i can`t get my Rahanas to transfer/trade with my Construction ship in Devries

Correct me if I'm wrong, maybe your rihannas is a "container type" freighter. Since ecells is energy you might need you need the energy type Rihanna's. Sometime's NPC will bring ecells to your CV.

I`ve just checked my game.... my Rahanas is a `Container Fuel type`, so theoretically i should be able to trade/transfer ECell`s with my CRV, but alas i can`t...
