IRC Channel or another chatplatform for modders?

What do you guys think about some IRC channel or a different platform for modders to hang and talk about stuff while going nuts trying to improve the game? :3

There won't be much ppl around most times, but that could change eventually.
And expected trashtalk in the channel/chat could actually lead to some bigger projects.

should i move this to the EN Forum or did you intend to write in the DE forum and just wrote in the wrong language?

It does just fine in firefox.

I used Opera along time ago, i should check back in again some time.

1. Open the chat by clicking on the link posted by UniTrader.
2. Right-click in the chat window and select -> Edit Site Preferences -> Network.
3. Under "Browser identification" select "Mask as Firefox".
4. Click on "OK" and reload the Chat window.

Then it should work. (Talking about Opera in versions up to version 12.16 here.)

In addition there's also Samuel Creshal's DevChat Client.
