OT-How do I get rid of macros

I know how to disable undesired macros in Word, by deleting and then creating a new normal.dot which is write protected and unchecking authorizations to run macros.

How do I get rid of an annoying macro in Excel?
I unchecked all authorizations and can't find the template so it is still active when I open my sheet.
