Finders, Keepers Achievement Does Not Increase

Description: The achievement is stuck for me. It says I have only ever captured two ships. However, I have captured many more than this.

I cannot think of a way to provide replication steps, I suppose you should just be able to board any ship and observe whether the number increases beyond two.

I have had this problem as long as I can recall, I don't believe it is 1.22 specific.

My Steam profile only shows me as having captured 6 ships, but I probably should have the 50 (or close to it) by now since boarding ships was all I ever seemed to do in the campaign. Agreed it does seem to be broken and not updating for some reason.

My current game stats. say that I've captured 4 ships, when in fact I've captured none.

What you called CAPTURING is actually called Claiming in game. Why would you assume that's what capturing means? I've only ever done that twice and it shows 6 on the achievement, not sure that's the answer.

Hmm, this might be it.

I have boarded many ships.

I don't think I have successfully captured any ships.

However, I remember one time in game pressing the claim button a couple of times on an abandoned ship in the middle of nowhere. I never actually successfully claimed it though.

So possibly my achievement says 2 because of that previous claim attempt?

Anyway, I think the common X Rebirth player assumes this achievement means either claiming or boarding a ship.

I am pretty sure it already counts if a pilot just bails out. You dont have to claim it.

In your statistics its also saying that.

Ships Captured
Ships Claimed

so Captured is propably as written above when the enemy pilot bails.

That would make a lot more sense, I know I've seen a couple enemies bail at 1% hull when the finishing round had already been fired, so that would explain the 6 in my stats.
