setting guidance

I am near the beginning where I have just delivered energy cells to HDA Lonely Giant (although it seems impossible to deliver exactly 100 cells).
I received a message on the screen (these messages often come and go so quickly I don't always have time to read them properly) saying to go to the main menu then 2.2 select the Rahanas and then set guidance, but I can't find 'set guidance' anywhere in the information about the Rahanas.
How do I set the guidance on the Rahanas?

I believe you need to be in the mission manager menu to find the actual Set Guidance button, alternatively you can click the button on the right to bring it up on the map from the 2.2 menu and choose "Plot Course", which should do the same thing (gives you a pointer to fly to the ship).
