Well I would like AI to say thank you.

How often does it happen that I hurry to rescue a TS that's under attack!
Usually these ships are already badly damaged, but when I destroy all it's attackers it doesn't even say hi, rather I get a huge blame if I accidantly scratch that ship while doing my duty.

Now wouldn't it be possible to make a script/code to have a ship check whom it is attacked by, and if the player is in the sector, reward him for destroying those attackers? At least a "thank you for your help" comm-message would be nice, maybe with a small reputation bonus?

This would really make the universe seem more alive... ideal would maybe be to have such ships also call the player for help if he's in the sector (and having a police license for the sector's race!!)

Its possible to check out every ship that has been attacked and destroyed by the player by the script. And then add credits to the player as reward. But theres already the POLICE LICENSE that you can buy which will pay you a few credits for exactly that... Its also possible to play a sound when you rescued another ship. But the problem would be to add a new sound like this or to find something similar to THANK YOU in the already existing sounds...
