Help with a problem PLZ!

I bought X2 about a week ago and I am LOVING IT! But I have a small problem with it. It seems my ship has a tendency to run into stations when on auto-pilot especially the Free Argon Trading Stations( the ones with a spinning hull). Is this a bug, or a realistic factor put into the game on purpose? Thanks.

Hit b for boost extension when you come out of any station. If not installed, just go full thrust for 1 or 2 seconds. After that, it is safe to engage autopilot. Your problem is your autopilot is setting a straight line course to your destination which is somewhere off to the side or behind the station *before* it notices there's something in the way. 1 or 2 seconds full thrust's worth of distance from the station and it'll have time to correct itself even if destion is still behind station.

destion- noun (deh shun) 1. a station that is also a destination 2. a destination that is also a station.
