After Building a food station in DeVries I encounter a bug (or dumb Manager) where my Station is full of Wheat and I cant supply it with spice to get it produce Food.
This behaviour can be seen at almost any station with more than one resource of the same storage type. So a Spice Factory is full with Space-weed (bulk -16% price) and cant produce Spice (bulk +16% price).
The reason for this is that the manager (AI or Player alike) don’t halt the production and/or buying till the storage is full, no madder if there is enough storage capacity for the other resources or products.
[BUG] Full stations 1.20/1.21

I'm still new to operating a station, so I don't have first hand experience with this. But I've read on these forums that the trick is to keep at least one of each item on your station. For whatever reason, the manager forgets to leave room if there isn't a marker for it.
How to do this, I don't know. Maybe editing the savegame.

A food supply station has a spice production stage that just requires energy and water. I don't think there is anyplace in devries that sells spices.... But I could be wrong. Maybe the crystal palace.
The station is okay with 0 for most items for freighters. The issue is mining vessels that are offloading what there mining needs atleast 1 unit in the station. The H20 additives station gets around this cause a stage there allows the production of ice from energy. But the other stations metalworks, construction, crystal and cell stations all require 1 unit in cargo before the mining vessels will offload. You can do this by manually mining then selling to the station then ordering the mining vessel to be assigned to station manager.

There is no spice production in de Vries. I had to get it from Omnicron.
Therefore I am building a Floating Meadow next to the food ration plant in Gushing Spring. The Floating Meadow has spice production and it will be my first focus to complete that one. Just to boast food ration production in de Vries. I have a big shortage of that atm.

The trick in Glaring truth is to get the npc stations to make your food,
For this you need to feed the NPC stations 3600 meat and 3600 spice per hour to keep running and the water stion there needs 24k ice per hour. Then the overall production of glaring truth is 36k food, 19k wheat and 16k water per hour to feed your stations (and a lot of ecells...)
Im building a spice farm and agnu beef farm there to get this going, then sort out the water buisiness and expand from there
