Chinese dialog in Xt?

What I noticed in the English translation of Xt is that some of the pirate dialog are actually bad words from Cantonese, especially for the Splits and/or Paranids. I could be wrong, but I thought that what was said. Can some Chinese speakers confirm that?

It would be interesting to know whether the same thing happen in the original German version, or was it just a translation artifact.

I don't know if I understand you correctly but don't Split and Pirates speak english in the english version of XT? Albeit a very bad english I might add
Where does the "chinese" or "cantonese" come into this?
In the german version they do say it in german.

I would tend to agree with CJ here. I am Chinese myself and I understand both Mandarin & Cantonese (being a resident of Hong Kong). I have not heard anything resembling Chinese at all. Perhaps it's like CJ said, just pure "bad" English from the Sssssppppllliitt & Paranids.
