1.19 Plot Station building

Hello,

So i just reached the part of the plot where i need to build a station, i accepted the mission and i saw the icon to build station, i went through the process and waited for my ship to jump into the sector.

It arrived and as soon as it did the station instantly was constructed, the plot then continued. However the station wasn't made, there is a frame (construction) showing but nothing else happens. I get the options to sell wares etc through the constructor but that's all. Small ships fly to the station but that's all. No matter how long i wait the station doesn't finish.

There were no alerts about construction stages etc, just instantly appeared (frame only) and mission complete.

During dialog i selected the ship to collect the needed materials to build the station.

I re-loaded a previous game and tried again in a different spot, the exact same thing happened.

Should i re-start a new game? would that fix the station building issues?

A similar issue happens with building ships, i see the frame and with ships i see them progress in stages. However 30mins to an hour may pass and no ship. Sometimes the model disappears and reappears randomly when alt + tabbing out and in the game.

Any assistance is appreciated.

if you see the frame then i suppose you have a resourse issue.

if you look at your construction ship. you see 4 icons around it and its telling you what resourses it needs.

what option did you click before constructing it?

let the architect handle it and gave her money?
or you would supply the resourses yourself?

With regards to the station, have you given the architect funds to purchase what is needed to create the station, as well as a ship to collect the wares, or did you choose the option to supply materials yourself?

Also check your trade computer to see if the bought by stations has updated with a whole bunch of things being bought by Construction Vessel in the zone you are in.

With regards to ships, If you speak to the ship dealer again do thay have a percentage beside the ship that is building? If they do and its not increasing, then the shipyard is looking for resources to complete the build.
Remember that there are two ship dealers at each shipyard normally, one for L size ships and one for XL size ships. If neither of them have a percentage amount beside a ship being built, then its possible its bugged out. In which case, it can potentially be saved by fulfilling all buy order the station has out,
