Well first off the way I got them was pretty awesome so I will start there. I spent way to much time building the Station for the plot and had watched thru my own trading the economy slowing dwindling but thought before I try to move on in the plot towards a "great battle" I best try to build myself some kinda support ship because the 2 Rahanas I have would just be fodder. So I went up to Darn Bad Air and thought I should at least try it. I didn't have a big heap cash so I had enough for a Balor and of course the Ship Dealer said no problem and took my money.
Of course the build didn't even budge and I had less than a million left so no way even if I could find the missing wares was I gonna be able to buy enough. So I used the save editor to force the ship to finish. I mean I paid for it.
Well here is where it got really interesting. My brand new Balor had spawned in the middle of an Atawn an the yard had already churned out. Well that just tears it first it won't build it now I can't even get to it. Ah but hold on a sec whats going on with this Arawn anyway? Well lets just say I knew exactly what was goijng on. So I quickly reloaded the last save before I order the Balor and just went straight for the Arawn.
Just shot out the jump drive and engines and boarded away. I mean it was empty so no retalation no need to do anything other than wait out the marines doing tthere thing.
BUT of course I am being yelled at the whole time to do this and protect that and I of course just ignored it. I got me a free Arawn fresh from the yard I'm not gonna do any damage to it I don't have too.
WELL here is where we get to the the TL;DR part
It gave me 3 identical Boarding Objectives that I can't abort and clear from my list. I mean I finally figured out how to shut them up when they came back on because of no other objectives but I just want them gone like they should be.
Thanks if you read my cool story about the easiest and only other cap attempt I had made so far and the amazing fluke of a reward. I just need somebody to point to where I can clean up the aftermath.

I dont know where you cn find what you are looking for , but keep an eye on that Arawn, It will randomly vanish on you at some point, I would be very tempted to sell it straight back and see if you can use the money to get your own from the xl shipyard ( the other one not the one the balor was built in, either that or get a few construction ships built so you can make things needed for the shipyards , and economy
Mine just vanished, was there one save, gone the next.

I just ran a quick test, starting a boarding mission on a random friendly ship and trying to find it in the save.
What I found was:
down below a bunch of (unaccepted) mission offers.
The entire list was between some <missions></missions> tags.
I deleted everything I quoted in the code section there, and it removed the boarding mission from my active guidance and mission manager list with no apparent ill effects so far.
So that might give you something to look for.
What I found was:
Code: Select all
<mission id="12215" active="1" name="Boarding" description="Board and take over the target ship" faction="player" type="fight" level="medium">
<briefing>
<objective step="1" type="destroy" text="Jump Tunnel Device" active="1"/>
</briefing>
<objective step="1" type="destroy" text="Jump Tunnel Device">
<targets>
<target id="[0x3b1a]"/>
</targets>
</objective>
</mission>

Great Vin yeah it gives me a place to start. I mean they aren't a real issue per say seeing as I have them disabled it just annoys me taking up so much of my list and it won't let me abort them to clear.
Legionnaire:
I went back to the save before even ordered the Balor build. That Arawn had been sitting there the whole time. It's the same NPC one that is usually in mid build when you finally get there and want to use the Yard. Well I was way late getting there and it did get finished and that is where it sits. I just happen to be the guy that claimed it. I did have a bit of chuckle over it more than just the fact that it was so easy. Not only is the Yard wasting what little resources that are available to it building the largest ship available it's just churning them out for no reason at all or for an NPC .

Actually the only problem I have had with it is that no matter what it will not repair the engines to 100%. Tried a few of the Engineer Mods while Hull Engineer got it close to fully repaired it has been at like 98% forever .
