Transported to 'Black Sector' Warning Entering atmosphere??

I'm on version 1.18, following story & up to the bit where you go through the gate and meet the other people near the sun, if I try to dock at the station or anywhere else I get 'jumped' to a place called 'Black sector' & I'm constantly warned of an oxygen issue and I'm docked in the Ranharas??

And there are no space graphics, just a dark blue colour everywhere

It happened to me the only thing I thought of was...'save game' then restart. Found out I was in 'deep space' approximately 1.4million km from the base I wanted to go to. Naturally I went into the 'load' link and backed up to the last save before that, only lost about 20 minutes.
