Not really sure where to post this, since modifying the GUI isn't possible, but anyway:
Can we get more information in the Trade and Properties Menue?
Like this:
Properties Menu:
- Base everything on the crew, and show all ships commanded by the captain
- show Hull status, location and current order/job
- Differentiate between orders for captains and the ship (follow me: Captains order, Buy Fuel Cells: Ship Order)

Trade Menu:
- More information about the ship: current wares, current (trade-) orders
- group the wares by station
- possibility to cancel trade orders or call the captain or etc.

The motivation comes from the fact that i almost rage-quit after trading with several similar Rahanas, with no easy way to differentiate between them in the trade menu. And since one of them was almost shot up (4% hull), i didn't want to trade the expensive stuff with it.
And the sorting in the properties menu seems somewhat erratic, which didn't help.
The differentiation between the Ship and Captain order: i had a situation where i was repairing my 4% Rahanas, but could still issue orders to it. Only the orders had absolutely no effect, which didn't help my frustration.
PS: I have no idea how to use the word 'ragequit'. Do i have a ragequit? Do i make a ragequit? Or is it just 'i ragequitted?'

Be nice if we could just name ships but from what I remember reading that does not appear to be possible atm.
Since all player owned ships have a pilot /captain with a name....what if some one could figure out how to add the captains last name in brackets to the ships name in the list?
Example: I have 3 Scaldis but each one is named Scaldis [ Tanaka ] , Scaldis [ learson ], Scaldis [ jones ] or something to that effect...?

Well, that would help a little, but it would still force you to remember a lot of stuff from previous menues. Stuff that will change in a few minutes anyway.
I had the same problem with the interface of the previous X Titles: You get loads upon loads of dialogs, that have no real relation to each other, or offer context related to what you want to do. For example if i wanted to tell your freighter to by specific ware, i got about 3 different dialogs, until the sector map popped up, and i had no idea anymore why i got there in the first place. This got better once i learned the shortcuts, but still isnt good interface design...
