I'm hoping one of the awesome modders out there can connect the systems for free play in a more efficient manner that is currently in place. I'd like to be able to go from Far Out in Albion to somewhere in Malestrom for instance. Just close the loop

I think you will find the modders jumping ship ...... very small additions to game, nothing for a few days .... Better games to mod.

rebirth is not a bad game , its just not the same.
it has a lot of potential , and well to be honest when I compare rebirth to XBTF rebirth is a million times better so all we need know is patches and or Xtension 2 and that will comme and then we can watch as egosoft once again become the best in the pc market

Could someone explain to me why unpaid modders should polish this turd while fully paid devs cannot even see the turd.

I didn't say any modder "should" polish anything. I said I was hoping that one of them does. From what I hear, some people out there like being modders.

I've tried really hard to stay out of all the "this game is crap" vs. "awesome game" threads. If you like it, I don't care, if you don't, I don't care. Really. I am enjoying the game. Almost 100 hours in. Good or bad, been a long time since I put that kind of time into a single game. So go hijack another thread to complain in, or better yet, make another of your own to add to the million and one already here.

Seriously, isn't this behavior of hijacking a serious thread not against some kind of rule here?

this is not a turd , yes its buged but not as much as X3 reunion was , reunion was a mess a terrible mess indeed but at the time a lot hated it , I continued playing it every day , and every hour I got a CTD and had 11fps but it was X it was amazing , the same here only I have no CTDs and 60fps all the time

Nobody has enjoyed the X series more than I have bugs and all ....BUT
the one point I cannot get past is .... NO Joystick support and look in the crates for goodies... That is criminal in a space flight sim.

No joystick sepport? I have been playing it with my joystick sins the alpha
however if you have problemes with that I do understand , egosoft are working on that issue but for me I never have had it
