Core Game Bug - V Crushers collision/explosions bugged

I have been having this issue in the vanilla game (no mods, even reinstalled once, cleaned registry, defragged, cleaned registry again, verified game files, etc.) with V crusher missiles. Whenever they are fired, they fly through objects such as ships and stations and either explode inside of said object or fly right through and past exploding somewhere else on the other end after flight time has expired.

I did notice something though. After starting a new free-play game with fresh re-install as stated above, we are automatically given 5 Newtonian V crushers. Firing consumes two crushers. I fired at the station to my left and, sure enough, the first two volleys (consuming 4 missiles) flew right through the station and exploded within it or went right past it. I had 1 Newtonian V crusher left. I fired it and, naturally, instead of being fired in a group of 2 as they always are, the skunk fired only one (and I could see only one missile flying towards the station). This time though the missile made contact with the station and exploded as would be expected. I tested this several times and it always works.

Have you tried them out after a client restart? I've noticed that reloading sometimes causes capital ships and stations' collision to stop working, which allows missiles (and even shots sometimes) to pass through them. Restarting the game will cause everything to start working properly again. Not saying it's the culprit here, but the two could be related.

Before every new free-play game, I would restart the client, clear memory cache and even run registry/ccleaner just in case.
