Captain on captured ship: No option to 'work here'

Captain on captured ship: No option to 'work here'

captured a Reiver capital ship. Docked, called the captain, there's no 'work here' option.

called the engineer down, she boarded and is fixin the boat.
called the marine officer, told him to go back to the skunk.
called the captain, there's no 'work here' option.

Dammit.

Suggestions?

I just had that same issue, and worked around it by adding the ship to my squad then immediately removing it from my squad, then docked back to the ship, and I was then able to swap out the commander. Hope that helps :)

I couldn't add it because there's no captain to call.

Very odd, :? I believe normally the game is suppose to spawn a captain after a successful cap. So I don't know whats up with that. Sorry :(

A crew member "merges" with the ship once you assign him/her to the new ship (other than Albion skunk).

With the excepion of the "Marine Officer". You can transfer him on/off ship no problem.

A capped ship is empty, appart from your boarding squad (which is logical... your boarding squad killed/jettisoned every one else)

I hope somebody will give savegame to devs...
(better several before capture and after capture)
or this bug will appears time to time for long time..

(I had never such problem: capped at least 20 ships, last 8 in 1.19, no problems).
