Can't use info panel while flying with capital ship

I've tried several times, and it seems very repeatable. If you are on a capital ship that is moving (in the near space so you get drug along), you can't use the info display anymore.

I tried to montior what the captain was doing, but clicking wasn't working on all things. I doiuble-clicked the capital ship and selected Info.

Then I also tried using Enter-2-2 to get to show ship details. and that display is also unusable .

It works OK if the capital ship is not moving. I think it's especially stimulated when the capital ship is turning. But also happens if the ship strafes.

It's like the current origin for the cockpit that the mouse computation uses isn't updated when drifting with a captial ship.
