Just noticed that Rebirth has just updated this minute, it crashed my game, but it's seemed to of updated, not sure what it's improved on?
A new Hotfix?

It does say in the 1.18 guidance notes that you MUST NOT be running any third party mods as presumably they can interfere with the hotfix. So, ensure your running a vanilla game.spankahontis wrote:Just noticed that Rebirth has just updated this minute, it crashed my game, but it's seemed to of updated, not sure what it's improved on?

Personally, I've started over from scratch and, although I've had one CTD and one or two other glitches, I've noted massive improvements to some of the more frustrating bugs, like trading. But, I'll compile a few 'repeatable' bug lists before I submit them to Tech support.

More than likely you guys have the cause and effect backwards. Steam doesn't download any games or game updates while a steam game is running, unless you perform steps to force it to. The crash likely just made it so that there was no longer a steam game running, so it immediately went and did a pending dl. Also, the "download" could have simply been steam syncing your saved data with the cloud and not an actual patch.
