Suggestions for monitoring software?

Can anyone suggest a good low impact monitoring tool that monitors CPU and GPU performance and temps so I can refer back to them when the game crashes, and look at a specific time after the event?

There are so many tools out there, not sure which is good, and wont impact performance in game too much.
