Random Crash in Devries on highway.

Not Modified, in the campaign

So, I have a unique problem. I've beaten the campaign and I'm continuing to free roam. I was in albion, on the way to Devries > Glaring Truth > Fervid Corona.

Ive gone through the gate and im sitting in Bleak Pebble...I hit the Twilight Sentinel highway, and all is good for a little while...I go through what looks like a small asteroid field, come out the other side...and crash.

It's creating a dump file every time but I dont know how to attach them, or view them in such a format that I can copy and paste.

Is there any chance you could you also upload a savegame from just before the problem occurs, and explain how to reproduce it?

Load it up...You should be facing a highway directly in front of you (twilight sentinel); Enter it

Everything seems ok, you can see an asteroid field in front of you. You enter it.....come out the other side, enter another asteroid field, and when you come out the out side of that one (in the highway or not, actually), CRASH.

I think it's trying to load a station or something like that, but failing for some reason.


Also I'd like to say - I know a lot of people have been unhappy with the game. While it is admittedly buggy, I enjoy it. So, I hope you keep developing it.

I had the same problem. Also in different locations. When I switch off antialiasing (because I was hope to adjust FPS) the problems with crashes in highways disappeared. I dont know if this will be helpfull.

Thanks for the savegame. I've not managed to reproduce the crash as described, so perhaps you'd might like to try verifying the game files in the Steam client and trying again in case it's just something missing from the download.

I'm crashing randomly in different sectors while using the highways. I hope the next patch gets that bug.

I recently updated my video driver (Nvidia GTX 560 Ti). I rolled back the drive and it's fine now.

That's discouraging.
