This has actually been frustrating since I have been played this game for over 60 hours, and just been played with bugs.
1. I go to the Concealed Hideout Station to pick up my 100 energy cells, do what is asked by hitting all the info points around the station and do not get my 20%.
2. Enemy craft unlock from targets after I have them locked on...I know this is a bug because it happens at random.
3. Economy seems to be on a clock then rather at random. I play the game at 11:00 AM my time ever since I bought it...the prices on the offers seem to be the same so began checking...and then the prices, offers etc seem to be the same price at the same times.
4. Mouse issue..still finding myself having to click several times on the mouse to get a menu to do dock or trade or what ever and now its seems to be getting worse with talking with the NPC players as well.
More bugs concerning 1.17 patch

I dont know why they wait and stack up.
I scanned every single ship.
All of these ships are full with energy cells and using 0 drones.
Strange ...
And ships at the docks , are empty and wait for Drones to load unload.
Ship stacking is a zero day bug, is think.
If you wanna see more , take a look ^^

egosoft knows there are bugs in the trade system and are working on it as we speak. AI trading isnt working. there are so many posts going on about this.
AI ships appear to be trading but are stuck at the trading ports. the cargo lifters dont move. its a BUG that i think everybody has problems with.
patch 1.17 and hotfix.

Even hotfixes are not thrown into the game without making sure they work properly or have an effect on the another part of the game, especially when a lot of consumers feel that the game was sold in bad faith, which in the U.S court system could mean bad news for the developer, the publisher and possibly the marketer. It's a well known fact about how people feel and it's all over the internet. (There is case law, or in Great Britain, known as common law to support that claim against software companies.)darthmoll wrote:egosoft knows there are bugs in the trade system and are working on it as we speak. I am not implying that I will do anything here, since I only had a minor financial setback, and this is a technical support forum. Like a lot of other consumers I am just frustrated at this point. I do get point though that patching is not an over night job, these guys probably have not been home since the release living out of their offices and that these fixes have to be done in steps, but not when its breaking something else that is already functioning properly or has been fixed.

it's hard to weigh up the best solution, to fully test a hotfix would mean forcing people to wait atleast a couple of days following it's development, often with bugs that make the game unplayable.
not testing the hotfixes allows them to get out alot sooner and get people playing again, but often creates new bugs to tackle.
A tough choice to make.
and for reference, this isn't the first game with this problem. look at battlefield 2 and how many GB's of patches it took to fix the bugs caused by patches.
the economy might have ground to a halt but atleast the game is playable in it's current state, give them time to get it right this time or you could find yourself sitting with a game that won't run yet again.
