Crash while creating new game 1.18 - Still can't play the game

Hi,
Since I got the game on release day and couldn't play it for once, I feel a little bit left alone...
There is a crash when I start a new game throwing a Serious Error at about 80%. It trys to load until 100%, never freezing the animation and keeps on, until I click the OK button (in Window mode, at Fullscreen it minimzes at 80%). Sound also works.
I tried:
- 3 different sound devices with 16bit /48kHz and other configurations
- Windowed Mode/Different Video Settings
- Steam Cloud Sync Off
- Deleting Config Folder
- Newest Grafic drivers (Nvidia GTX 460)

Is there anything left to try? I would really like to know what causes the error.

You've got on-board Realtek sound there with the default Microsoft drivers. Download some proper drivers for that from the Realtek site, and just to make sure try unplugging your USB sound device temporarily to make sure the Realtek is used. If that works then you can try again with the USB sound device plugged in.

I tried it with the official Realtek Drivers, but no change there. Honestly, it would have upriesed me, scince I tried 3 different Sound devices so far, and 2 of them were (semi) professional USB sound cards, not from Reaktek.
Also, it doesn't sound quite like the usual audio error, but I leave this analysis to the experts.

1.18 came out and I like the new error screen. Still couldn't play the game though....

Ok, reinstalling the game did the trick -.- finally....
