Why no Mouse cursor!? [Q&A CUI-1]

I havent had any mouse cursor since patch 1.15, how do I get it back?

I see mine flicker and when it does flicker it is very difficult to walk around with it as the game seems to miss 75% of the mouse events. It clears up sometimes.

My mouse cursor is permanently gone since patch 1.15, it's just not being shown at all. Quite frustrating

Hello there,
I just thought I would add to the stack as well.
My mouse flickers on and off to. It want select any commands ever. I cant dock at the Rahana.
The mouse want select the dock command, which I have to hold down 'F' to make the command stay on screen, wether the mouse has flicked on or off it does not activate any commands.

Like BDelacroix I can see the mouse but more like 25% of the time.

Is there any way to get steam to re-install the game or will the be a fix for this?

I hope so. My missions at an end before it even started.

Hey there,
I fixed the mouse flickering:
By turn off everything in the graphics settings!!

Like the view distance to zero, everything zreo.

I am now experimenting with turn things on and off.
x2 anti anilis works.

My system should cope with everything on full I am sure, but not for now.

I think the clue is in the thousands playing the game without this problem. One player fixed it by verifying the gamefiles cache (a recommended first step for all Steam games with issues as per the FAQ) and found his game install was incomplete. Others fixed it by removing interfering USB devices as per Q&A CUI #1. Since everybody has a different system and set-up and the relevant information is not provided in the posts here, we cannot help further.
