I have a very serious question about the shields of medium and large ships and possibly stations:
Are they really supposed to have no overall-shields? Why are we equipping force field generators for big money especially stations which have a ton of them and now, even the smallest shot at the hull reduces the hull no shields over the ship only over the module itself. And it is a very expensive shot at that, because you force us to repair them with materials.
Lets take the most common scenario: You are doing some of the random missions, for exampel "Raid incoming". A rahanas freighter accidentally is in the same area because it want's to deliver some wares. By accident your freighter get in the line of fire or even worse the hostiles start to shoot at your freighter.
1% of a rahanas freighter costs roughly 0.01 x 7.000.000 => 70k? I event don't want to start with even bigger ships or stations.
Please tell me this is some kind of bug or something, that all stations and newly build ships have shield generators but no real overall shields which can absorb at least one or two accidental shots?
Please let me remind you. Even the smallest ships (clutter around the station) all have shields to absorb at least one shot before hull goes down. This is a bug right?
