I get this issue after 1.15 too. I have no mouse cursor anywhere. Not in the main menu, not in game. Tried restarting game and computer several times. Mouse cursor is not showing. However there definately is a mouse x,y coordinate, since I can test the position by pressing space to steer ship with mouse and when shooting lasers, and it is apparent that the 'cursor' is actually there, it's just no being shown or drawn. In fact it's like the mouse is just missing it's cursor sprite

That doesn't help at all. The only thing plugged into my computer is my usb-mouse, my usb-wifi keyboard, my RJ45 internet-cable, my lcd screen, my powercord and my headset. Unplugging both my headset and my usb-mouse, or my usb-wifi keybord, makes no difference. Mouse cursor still missing. Why does this happen?Alan Phipps wrote:Please see Q&A CUI #1 and see if that helps for some people.

Right, I fixed the issue with missing mouse cursor. Since the problem didn't go away, I tried to "verify integrity of game cache" in Steam for Rebirth, and 5 files could not be verified and was reacquired. Now the mouse cursor is back! Perhaps some files got corrupt during the numerous crashes I have had and one of those files had something to do with displaying the cursor.
