1.12-1.15 Massive FPS hit from dropped cargo and broken asteroids

1.15, vanilla, free play


After mining with a Fedhelm for 2 full loads in Wreckville the frame-rate dropped to a level where the zone is no longer playable. (i3-2030, gf gtx660ti, 1080p)
LOD is set to 0, viewdistance 20, effect distance 15.
The broken asteroids are ~40km away.

A few days ago Ive experienced the same after an energy transporter got destroyed and dropped thousands of energy cells in one huge bundle of containers.
Seems theres some serious optimization needed.

Anybody else experienced this?

I experienced this while mining in Magma Pool, supported by a Sequana.

After one asteroid in particular popped framerates were destroyed.

However, I've had dozens of containers onscreen without lag in other situations.

I have minimum view distance.

1.14, vanilla, campaign.
Irrational factors are clearly at work.

This seems to me like drawcalls problem,too much objects on the screen.Did they do some sort of object(mesh) instancing?

Btw when you fly far enough from the droped cargo so you no longer can see them did the framerate becomes normal?
