Originally I live in Europe but at the moment I am located in US. Lets say I get the retail box in US, will I be fine with my "Europien Steam account" in the long run?

Just making sure, since you have to activate via the Steam and I had some issues with Steam in the past.

In your situation, as long as you activate your game while you're in the US you will be fine.
