Can't Sell Energy Cells

I'll start with - I can't sell the energy cells. Rahanas was in the system with me (would be nice if it was highlighted always), and I had already triggered the trade thing, I ended up saying 'plot course to rahanaas' which ended up taknig me back to teh beginning of the map, and then back to endless mine.... during that flight I guess rahanas was trying to follow because eventually it said it didn't have neough fuels cells to make the jump; wished I knew it was jumping all the time behind me instead of just taking the highway like everyone else.

How do I make it stop following me so I can go to it?

I gave up the first time, figuring my game was buggy, quit and reloaded and tried again, it failed... found another message said the stuck trade could be fixed by editing the save file and removing content from <shopping> which was in the quicksave but not the save slot I made after that... but that didn't help, was able to repost the trade, and my quantity went from 436 to 336, and ti said the delivery was complete but it wouldn't progress the mission; I did it again and I'm down to 236 cells and 2/50 drones cargo drones used but no progress on the mission.

My other complaint since I'm here; The user interface is reallly really laggy; like because menus take time to shw, you can't trigger the next action until the menu appears, making me have to reissue the same key stroke multiple times or being Really slow and deliberate which hampers gameplay. One of the things I used to like about X was the interface was very responsive, as deep and complex as it was, I could hit p-o-enter-space-right all quickly and fluidly to issue some order.....
