[BUG] [v1.14] Resource Leak when successively loading saves

Start with my game save which puts you just after "The Trade Run" mission has started. The file can be found here as save_001: http://xrebirth.nexusmods.com/mods/124/

Steps to reproduce:
1. Load up the save game.
2. Play straight until after you have purchased the 100 Energy Cells.
3. Repeat from step #1 a good 6 or more times.

The first load played rather smoothly. Each successive load and play through caused the game to perform worse. Eventually the game hung at a dialog window requiring me to quit.
