Bug? Yisha Doesn't Fly

Bug? Yisha Doesn't Fly
I seem to remember that Yisha is supposed to fly the ship for you while you do other things (drones, encyclopedia, trade, etc.). She just sits there, though. I've got to believe it's a bug since the Skunk takes such a beating while piloting drones.

Tbh, i think she is very busy calling every nearby Plutarch ship a variety of unflattering things. It would explain why they hate me so much.
And all the other ships nearby pour fuel on the flames
Yisha: "Your mother was a hamster and your father smelt of elderberries!"
'Helpful' HOA ship: "Did you hear that? Well i never! You shouldn't let that go unpunished!"
Station: "We don't appreciate unprovoked attacks like that in our system!"
Plutarch ship: "DIE!!"

removed annoying, repetitive sounds that NPC's and Yesha makes, including the "Shut up Betty!" sound effect. If you wish to just remove the "Shut up Betty!" sound then the mod "Shut up Yisha!" does it also,

I'm afraid that's not a bug, it's simply NOT a feature. I solved it by parking the Skunk in some small crevices of the station I'm supposed to scan or hack with drones. But be cautious: If the crevice is to small for the ship you may hit another bug of the game: You bounce from wall to wall until the ship is suddenly INSIDE the station with no chance of getting out again. Sure, the ship is now completely safe but that doesn't help much

I'd like her to take over a little but only when I ave a course plotted (from the map) that means she can be driving through highways while I look after other bits.

While using drones she could simply do evasive maneuvers. I don't want her to do actual fighting but it would be cool if Yisha automatically tries to dodge attacks and informs the player that the ship is under attack and maybe also tell the player about the current shield status. Example:
"Ren, we are under attack! I'm starting evasive maneuvers."
"Shield is down to 75%"
"Shiels is down to 50%"
"Shield is criticial! I need your help!"
Then the player can decide if he can keep on using a drone or if he has to abort it. Currently there is only this flashing skull symbol which isn't really helpful.

Or instead of only the friggin evasive maneuvers (which would work as well as... oh... say... capital ships fighting?) she could be acting like "Fight Command Software MK1", then maybe "Fight Command Software MK2", then maybe IDK... even asking some of players CAP SHIPS TO HELP, in case of screwed up odds and in case you have one "support ship" allocated for just this occasion?

Normally when I'm using Drones I've hidden away in a nook in a station so I really hope she just tells me we are under attack (as she does when we are docked on a station).kayahr wrote:

I guess while trying to board or doing combat evasive moves would help tho. I never realised thats what the skull was for!
I'd just like her to fly while I go talk to the crew or lookup bits on the monitor.
I've just added it to the mod request thread. Maybe a dev or modder will read it
