restore components

there is already a savegame editor , but it only edits the money in the game

if it allowed editing faction and ship details etc it would be better , i am asking for an editor that allows the editing of ship stats for ships you own

just wanted to clarify since there is a diffrence between Savegame Editing and Ship (type) editing... your title indicates the latter

As UniTrader said, what you're looking for is a savegame editor with more functionality.

The thing it sounds like you're asking for is an editor to edit ship types, changing their stats etc. The result of that would however be that all ships of that type would have those changed stats, not only the ones owned by you.
