I'm having a little bit of a problem with running X Rebirth, Well not running it but running it smoothly.
System Specs.
OS: Windows 8.1
Processed: 3.5GHz Quad Core
Ram: 8G clocked at 2200
GPU: Radeon HD 6450 2G
Clocked GPU 750
Clocked Memory 1800
Now I'm pretty sure this isn't the best rig that could be running this, I have my View, effect distance down to 30, My LOD is 0 (not sure what it was but lowering it improved performance.)
I do fine till I get into heavy populated areas and get a low frame rate of 15, or in a area with dust or gas clouds, when near a cluster of people I get from 15 low end too 25 high end but in dust clouds it stays at 15 and doesn't drop.
So if anyone could help me understand why I am having such performance issues I am all ears.

that's one of the currently performance problems, your computer would be on the low-highend computer scale. I have the same problems. that is about the same FPS I get atm you will just have to keep tweaking your settings and wait for patches most of the issues seam to be on the games end not your system

I see, I thought I had build it wrong or something, put the balancing out a bit and what not, I tried to keep it as balanced as I possibly could but not knowing much about computers I did my best.
I did but when I meat all the recommended requirements it baffled me.myztkl-kev wrote:You and thousands of other people man. Read the forum stickies before postingSeldion wrote:I'm having a little bit of a problem with running X Rebirth, Well not running it but running it smoothly.

I've got some bad news for you and some good news.
The bad news is that that line in the file isn't read by the game. Any performance improvement or other difference that you've seen in-game must therefore be coincidental.
The good news is that we do plan to implement this option, so there's no harm in leaving it set to your preferred state.
